A.2017-18 Budget Hearing
Departments: CAO

(Leslie Chapman) - Public hearing and adoption of the 2017-18 CAO Recommended Budget as presented or amended.

Recommended Action: 1. Conduct public budget hearing, 2. Adopt resolution R17-_____, A Resolution of the Mono County Board of Supervisors Adopting the Final Mono County Budget for Fiscal Year 2017-2018, as presented or amended, and 3. Approve the County Position Allocation list as presented or amended. The Mono County Recommended Budget for fiscal year 2017-18 along with a transmittal letter is available on the Mono County Website:   http://monocounty.ca.gov/sites/default/files/fileattachments/auditor_-_controller/page/6636/2017-18_recommend_budget_printable.pdf. The document may also be accessed on the Mono County website home page by clicking the “2017-18 Recommended Budget” link under “News and Announcements.”  

Fiscal Impact: CAO Recommended budget includes $111,873,549 in expenditures, $103,184,418 in revenues and relies on $8,689,131 in carryover fund balance. The General Fund component includes $41,919,583 in expenditures, $36,252,033 in revenues, and relies on $5,667,550 in carryover fund balance.
